All the Praise Belong to You

Heavenly Father,

I praise you for your awesome power.  You alone are God, there is none above you and none beside you.  You are Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.  You speak words of life into me, you have blessed me with the ability to be creative for your will and your kingdom’s work. And you maintain every work and activity that you have enabled me to do with my hands, my mind and my spirit, for your glory.  Thank you God:  Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

Your Word tells me that those you call, you justify, and those you justify, you glorify.  So, I ask you to help me not to look to man for approval, because yours is all that I need. Man’s approval is temporary and conditional, but your seal, oh God, is everlasting. I praise you for every good and perfect gift you bless me with, and I give you the glory and the honor for it all, because withoA Morning Prayer for Strength

Lord,

I am weary and don’t know when this “race” will end in my life. I feel like I’ve been running forever, trying to outrun this trial. Help me to stop trying to outrun my pain but rather run with endurance the race you have set before me. I know that because of you I am ultimately a victor over the trials in my life. I know that nothing in this world can separate me from your steadfast love. Please give me a measure of your love today; give me the strength to endure this trial. Thank you for your love for me that never ends! And thank you for the crown of joy that awaits me forever in your Kingdom!

In Jesus name.  Amen!

“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.  Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.” – 2 Cor. 12:9-10ut you, I can’t.  I can do nothing of my own strength, but I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. Grant me the grace to be humble and direct others to you when they start to praise me for the good work you are doing in and through me.   I want to hear you say “well done my good and faithful servant” when I get to Heaven.  All the glory, all the honor and all the praise is yours, oh God, in Jesus’ precious name I pray, Amen!
