This prayer is based on the scripture from John 1:9 (“The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world”)
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for sending Jesus, the true light that gives light to everyone. As Your light shines into the darkness of our world, I pray that it penetrates my heart, guiding my steps and transforming my mind. Lord, please let Your light illuminate every hidden corner of my life. Forgive me for the times I have hidden this light and grant me the grace to shine it brightly in everything I do. May my words, actions, and kindness reflect Your love so clearly that others are drawn to You. Give wisdom to those who are seeking truth and bring hope to anyone currently walking through spiritual or emotional darkness. Help me to be a beacon of peace, carrying Your light to everyone I meet today. [1]
